OUR STORY

We’ll be honest — we didn’t start this to be a big brand. We just wanted better basics for our home.

It started with bedding. We wanted a real stonewashed cotton set that was soft, breathable and would last. But everything we found was sold piece by piece, in fancy packaging, for a price that didn’t make sense. So we made our own. A complete 4-piece set — quilt cover, fitted sheet, and two pillowcases — the way it should be. We liked it so much we made more for friends, then friends of friends. That became Sleepy Koala.

Once we had the bedding sorted, we made the next things we were actually looking for. Our pyjama pants — just 100% natural cotton, no synthetic blends. Comfortable on every body, made to live and sleep in.

And then our stainless steel bottles — food-grade steel, no plastic taste, keeps cold cold and hot hot. Something simple that lasts for years instead of ending up in landfill.

We’re still a small team in Melbourne and in no rush to grow up too soon. We pack your orders ourselves and answer the messages. Just good old customer service 👌

We make everything by the same rule we started with:

Made naturally, for a fair price.
